Speech By The Minister Of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation And Tourism Honorable Ms Philda Kereng
Botswana launched the 2019 Human Development Report on Wednesday the 11th of December 2019. The 2019 Human Development Report set out a new way to address inequality in the 21st Century. It recognizes that inequality weakens social cohesion, damages people’s trust in government, institutions and in each other, prevents talented people from reaching their potential and, when taken to extremes, brings people onto the streets as it is being witnessed today.
UN family in Botswana held the celebrations of the UN day on reducing STIGMA around mental illnesses in collaboration with tertiary institutions, Business Botswana and the Botswana government from the 18th of October to the 8th of November 2019.
